PawsPet for horse owners
PawsPet is a horse management app for the people who look after a horse every day: a profile with stable number, passport and documents with expiry dates, Coggins and vaccines with reminders, shoeing and trimming in the history, training in the calendar. Your groom, yard and vet can each get their own permissions. Documents, though, stay visible to you alone: collaborators see health and activities.

In the horse's details tab the passport, required for equines, is always the first document: number, issuing body, dates and scans in page order. Insurance, certificates and pedigree get an expiry date and one or more reminders a set number of days before it.
Under Lab test, pick Coggins test (EIA): the app suggests the sample type, a 12-month repeat and validity, plus a Mandatory badge with the legal reference where your country requires it. Tetanus and equine influenza stay in Recommended until you log them.
Shoeing and Hooves trimming are health record types reserved for horses, ponies and donkeys: date, who did it, cost and notes stay in the history. The next farrier visit goes into the calendar as a repeating activity, every six weeks for example, with alerts.
From Collaborators you invite anyone with a PawsPet account and decide, group by group, whether they can view or also edit health and activities. On their side the horse appears under Shared with me. Documents and the passport, for now, stay with the owner.
Horses and ponies
Pets tab » «+»: optional photo, name and date of birth, species Horse or Pony with breeds, sex and coat colour, then stable number, health booklet and microchip. On the last step you can upload the passport straight away with Add document, or tap Not now.
In the Health tab tap «+» and pick the type: Lab test for the Coggins, Vaccine for tetanus and equine influenza with doses, expiry and alert, Shoeing or Hooves trimming with date and farrier, a recurring Therapy for deworming. The Recommended strip in the profile shows what is missing.
Open the horse » «⋮» » Collaborators » Add collaborator: search the person by name or email, tick View or Edit for Health and Activities and confirm. You can change or remove permissions at any time; only you can delete the horse.
Horses and ponies
Yes. Each horse or pony has its own profile with stable number, documents, health and activities; the Pets tab lists them all, yours under My and the ones others share with you under Shared with me. An activity can be linked to several animals at once.
Open the horse » details tab » Documents strip » dashed Add passport card, or tap the Passport pill in Recommended. One passport per animal; if you set an expiry date you can add one or more reminders before it.
Health tab » «+» » Lab test » choose Coggins test (EIA) from the catalogue, then date, laboratory and results. The app suggests Repeat periodically every 12 months and shows the next due date; with Set alert you get a notification. Where your country requires the test, it is marked Mandatory with the legal reference and a Source link.
Yes, if they have a PawsPet account: from Collaborators you invite them and choose the permissions, for example View only on Health. They see the horse under Shared with me with only the tabs you allowed. Documents and the passport are not shared with collaborators: only the owner sees them.
Yes. In the Activities tab choose Sport » Equine sports (horse riding, show jumping, dressage, endurance, horse trekking and more) and, if you like, a weekly repeat. With the red button you start a GPS recording: route, duration, distance and, for equestrian disciplines, the jumps detected by your phone.
