What you need to publish
A pet of your own, not deceased, with a 15-digit microchip and at least 60 days old, the health declaration and the truthfulness check. One active listing per pet.

Requests without names or contacts, you decide
Whoever writes stays anonymous: you read the message, open the chat and accept one request; the others still open are closed. The listing shows only the last 4 digits of the microchip.

An ownership transfer both sides confirm
You set the hand-over, each of you ticks your own checklist and confirms: the pet moves to the new owner with its health history, and you keep read-only access for 90 days.

On the second «Confirm the hand-over» the animal is registered to its new owner, health history included. The giver keeps read-only access to the health data for 90 days; no money goes through PawsPet.

You can start straight away as a private individual. To publish in your organisation's name you need a business profile, created with «Become a merchant» in PawsPet Business or on your computer.
How to publish an adoption listing
Publish the listing from your pet's profile
Open your dog or cat, tap the three-dot menu and then «Offer for adoption». Write a title and, if you like, a description; add the documents you have and fill in the health declaration. The price stays locked at free. Tick the truthfulness declaration and tap «Publish» or «Save draft».
Read the requests and accept one
In the Profile tab open «My animal listings», then the listing and «Requests received»: the «To decide» filter shows the open ones. Open a request, read the message and tap «Open the chat» to get to know who wrote it. Once you have chosen, tap «Accept the request»: the others close automatically.
Close the ownership transfer with two confirmations
From the accepted request open «Ownership transfer» and tap «Propose a date». You both see the same screen, with the pet's details frozen and the full microchip number. Each of you ticks the checklist and taps «Confirm the hand-over»: on the second confirmation the animal belongs to the new owner.
