PawsPet for owners
PawsPet is a pet passport and documents app for owners: you keep your dog's passport, health booklet, pedigree and other papers inside the pet's profile, as photos or PDFs, with number, issuer and expiry date, and the app reminds you before anything expires. Two honest limits: it does not read data from the scan, and documents stay with you only, never with collaborators.

Passport, health booklet, certificate, award, insurance, pedigree, adoption, microchip registration and Other. They all live in the «Documents» strip of the pet's profile: the passport always comes first, the others follow from the most recent.
Attach the pages one by one, as photos or as a PDF. Accepted formats: PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC and WEBP. Use the arrows to put pages in order and remove the wrong ones. The app does not read text from the scan: you type the number and dates yourself in the form.
You save a title, number, who issued it, issue and expiry dates, plus a note. With an expiry date you pick one or more reminders, days in advance: a push notification arrives and opens that document. Under 30 days the label turns yellow; expired is red.
The passport has a page of its own with scans, number, issuer, dates and notes; if it is missing, «Recommended» suggests it (mandatory for equines). Everything stays private: no documents in the public profile link, and collaborators never see them.
Documents & passport
«Pets» tab » open the pet » «Anagraphic» tab: under the microchip you find the «Documents» strip. Tap the dashed «Add passport» card, or «See all» and then the + «Add document» button. Alternatively, in the «Profile» tab tap the «Passport» or «Health booklet» pill in Recommended.
Pick the «Type» from the menu (Passport, Health booklet, Pedigree and more), enter the «Title» (not needed for the passport), «Number» and «Issued by». Set «Issue date» and «Expiry date» from the calendar: with an expiry date the reminders appear, in days before. Add a note if you like.
Under «Attachments» tap «Add attachment» for each page or PDF; use the arrows to order them and the bin to remove one. Tap «Save»: the document appears in the strip and in the list with its expiry label. From the ⋮ menu on each row you can later edit or delete it, with a confirmation.
Documents & passport
Open the pet » «Anagraphic» tab » «Documents» strip » dashed «Add passport» card, or «See all» » + «Add document» for the other types. If you have just created the pet, the last step of the wizard asks right away whether you have documents to upload. It works the same way for cats, horses and every other animal.
In the document form, set the «Expiry date» first: the reminders appear below it, one or more intervals of days in advance. You get a push notification on your phone and, when you tap it, that document's page opens. Notifications must be enabled for PawsPet in your phone settings.
No. Today documents and the passport are visible only to the pet's owner: an invited collaborator does not see the «Documents» strip, whatever permissions you grant, and the public profile page shared by link does not show them. If your vet or pet sitter needs one, show it from your phone or send the scan in the order chat.
No: there is no automatic text recognition. You type the number, issuer, dates and notes in the form; the scan stays as an attachment you can open and zoom in the app whenever you need it. Keep in mind that the copy in the app does not replace the original: when you travel, take the paper passport with you.
Yes. There are nine types: Passport, Health booklet, Certificate, Award, Insurance, Pedigree, Adoption, Microchip registration and Other. Each pet can have only one passport; of the other types, as many as you like. Test results, instead, are recorded in the Health tab, not among the documents.
